This isn’t working for me. To clarify, it WAS working until this morning when I decided to move RetroArch to a different hard drive. Even after uninstalling RetroArch from the old drive and performing a clean install on the new drive, Crash n’ Burn still shows the Total Eclipse demo loop (which also happens to run too fast) even when I enable the “Timing Hack 1 (Crash n’ Burn)” option. This option always stays enabled (I even verified this within the retroarch-core-options.cfg file).
I’ve tried closing/reopening the game, closing/opening RetroArch, and even rebooting my Windows 10 PC, but nothing fixes the problem. I’ve also tried different BIOS files for the different 3DO models, but still no go.
FYI, the “Use per-game options if available” setting doesn’t appear under Menu -> Settings -> Configuation (even if you’ve enabled “Show Advanced Settings” under the User Interface option). The closest thing I found was called “Load Content-Specific Core Options Automatically” which was already enabled.
I’m at my wits end here… please help!
