4k verical Bezel (ArsInvictus and OrionsAngel Style)

The Mega Bezel was created for users, not just artists and creators.

Overlays are a simple single layer image. Using them as a background has been a Mega Bezel features since it’s inception.

With very little effort, and just a bit of patience, any user can convert an overlay to a Mega Bezel preset in minutes.

The second half of this posts. . .

. . .walks a user through doing just that. Any questions left unresolved can be asked and answered in that thread, the Mega Bezel thread, or my graphics thread.

Thank you for your reply @Duimon. What I meant, is I see posts from you and others like OrionsAngel, but the post is actually a .jpg, not a .png image, so there is no alpha channel (transparency). Am I right?

I answered in the other thread but it bears repeating here. The images posted are just screenshots to show the work. They aren’t meant to be used by downloading the posted image, but downloaded in the original PNG form, usually via a link.

That being said, depending on the use case, the Mega Bezel can use JPGs as well as PNGs.

Hi K, thanks, those console things were some concepts i was playing with and sorry to say I have been out of the scene for quite some time, just keeping my ear to the ground. If you can find someone to take it further and get it working, i can link you my work files photoshop files and you can post what you have done here.

have fun.

Thanks @Briball. I’m not the right person for it. I have no skills in graphic design. I just love old games and hardware. I do have some skill though . Look at my webapge of repurposing a Commodore 64 case. Here is the link you want to check it out: Pimmodore 64

great, I had a C64 and a speccy nback in the day. So that is cool.

Anyway the psd files have all you need to strip out the monitors on those and resave it as png. i would do it but my PC at home has given up the ghost and i haven’t gotten round to replacing it. I might find some time soonish at work.

I like what you have been doing with Ars on getting the megabezels to work. saw some of my old bezels going past makes a big difference with megabezelshader. good work.

Yeah, I have that killer pair too!! I use them a lot!!

Thanks! The MegaBezel really gives a new life to overlays. Little tricky with some of them, but is worth it.

To be honest, I don’t even have Photoshop, maybe I can use some free app for basic things like you say. Anyway my first goal is to finish arcade overlays, so there is plenty of time.

I´ve managed to open a psd thanks to this site!!! The C64 looks awesome!!!

I think if you could cut the red part, I can replace it with the Megabezel, trying to match the frame color. Or, you could cut following the blue line (but leaving the thin frame at the outer edge), and I can replace it with a megabezel including frame generation.

I haven’t opened the rest of the psd, but the idea would be the same.

Regards!!

I can make the time to get this done. If that is OK.

I wanted to use these with the Mega Bezel in my future Vertical setup.
