Buster Bros (Capcom-1989)

Marquee, CPO and bezel all provided thanks to @mrdo. I restored the marquee and CPO. I provided two variations again, full bezel and a cropped bezel with a larger screen area.

Super Buster Bros (Capcom - 1990)

A big upgrade to the original game with a new “Panic Mode” gameplay option. The only difference in the art was the “Super” logo on the marquee and CPO, which I recreated by tracing the side art.

The next game in this series is Buster Buddies, which was released to the arcade but I’ve not found any visual evidence of that art on the internet and I don’t see that any collectors own it either. So that one may require something custom.

The last in the series is Mighty Pang! And I have the marquee at low res that I believe I can trace in vector format, as well as the CPO stickers which I should also be able to trace. There is also only one very low res image of the instruction sticker, and I can basically recreate it as the elements there were also found on a flyer. Anyway, more to come on Mighty Pang! at some point, hopefully soon.

Battle Circuit (Capcom - 1997)

I think this will be the definitive and final overlay set for this title for me, finally. All custom stuff here. custom marquee, translated instruction card from japanese to english. Custom control panel decal stickers for the joystick and buttons based on other titles from this era by Capcom.

Three views available, plastic bezel with CPO, which is the default as it’s the most likely look Capcom would have had for this game had it been released to arcades. But also the custom bezel I did when I first started with overlays, and a coin door variation with the plastic bezel.

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (Capcom - 1993)

Hopefully another final overlay edition for this game. There is no photographic evidence of the CPO decal stickers for this title, so I used the same custom format based on other Capcom CPO’s I did for Battle Circuit. I’ve included a plastic bezel option as the default, as that is how it would have appeared originally, but also offer one based on the custom bezel I created for this game about a year ago.

X-Men vs. Street Fighter (Capcom - 1996)

Used the big marquee Dynamo cabinet style here. Another great thing about the vertical format is that allows us to showcase cabinet art like the huge marquees on this cab and still offer a nice large screen to play on.

I recreated the CPO stickers for this game in vector format, which are available on the MameWorld forums (I post all my restoration and recreation work there now).

19XX (Capcom - 1995)

Updated with the CPO. I recreated and vectorized the control panel stickers for this one as well, also available for download on MameWorld forums.

Let me know if there are problems with the mame config, I wasn’t able to test properly on my setup.

Marvel Super Heroes (Capcom - 1995)

I vectorized the control panel decal stickers again for this one, and I’ve shared them on the MameWorld forums. Many thanks as always to @mrdo for providing the rest of the artwork on this title.

I’ve provided both Z-Back and Dynamo (large marquee) style overlays for this one.

Nice work on the cpo cleanup. Curious to see how it plays in my cab, as it’s 3screen wide? Ratio?

Bubble Bobble (Taito - 1986)

This game was published by Romstar in NA while Taito released it themselves in JPN/EU. It’s not entirely clear which art was used for the EU release, but what I’ve presented for the overlay is faithful to the original art set used by Romstar in the US.

There was no bezel included with the game then, just the standard Romstar CPO, stickers and marquee. The bezels seen floating around are mostly custom aftermarket designs, or possible something used by Taito in the EU, but I haven’t been able to confirm that.

But, without any further ado, here is the Romstar based overlay:

EDIT: Updated to fix some issues with the CPO graphics:

Hey @ArsInvictus, I opened this one up and noticed the dynamo cabinet image is missing and the ZBack cabinet image is there instead, this is in the retroarch package, just wanted to let you know.

Fantastic work on all of these!
