Wow! Fantastic work! I’m glad I could contribute in someway.
That’s amazing! I always wanted someone to make realistic kiosk bezel. You hit the mark!
@Orionsangel Your comment made my week!
Thank you so much for sharing your bezels for Virtua Racing and Daytona USA. Those were amazingly fun to work with and literally set the whole framework for those full vertical overlays!
Also, thank you for the kind words. I’m new to the scene and learning how to navigate and such. Apologies I didn’t give you proper credit and thanks. Moving forward I plan to do things with this in mind first.
The kiosk will be a series. More planned around other ones. I have a PS1 and Genesis kiosk in the works!
Well welcome aboard! Thank you for the kind words. That’s nice of you. I’m glad I could help! “Will be watching your career with great interest”
Hi all. I’m more than happy to find this awesome Overlays!!! I was in the process of building an horizontal cabinet, but now I see these, I’m having second thoughts about it. Thing is, Mega Bezel Reflection shader from HyperSpaceMadness are not implemented AFAIK, at least not fully. Are there any plans to implement it? That would be glorious!!!
While that is true for these and any other overlay, they are a single image. Setting them up as a background layer in the Mega bezel is fairly easy, almost automatic if you use the correct setup.
There is a Magic Sword example in the Mega Bezel examples package.
This is truly something you could do for yourself.
Nice to run into a fellow Star Wars fan. I’m an OG fan. I saw the original Star Wars in theaters. What did you think of Ahsoka? I loved it!
Yeah same here! Saw ROTJ when I was prob 4. But really got into SW when I turned 13. Ahsoka was great! I didn’t watch any Rebels episodes though. So i was a little in the dark. But i knew enough from rebels through friends that had watched it as to not feel disconnected. Looking forward to the next Andor season.

Thanks Duimon. It can be a little overwhelming due to my lack of experience with retroarch and overlays. If you could give me some hints, I’ll be more than happy to share my “achievements” with the community. For example: A lot of vertical overlays already have a bezel or “frame” for the CRT. On the other hand, AFAIK, Reflection bezels need their own “frame” for the reflection, so I’m not sure how to make it automatic, like you said. Any tips will be much appreciated Duimon!!!
Hi K-mivoro
I would say in situations like you describe above. There isn’t really an automatic way to force the megabezel “reflections bezel” to overlay over an existing vertical overlay that has the original arcade bezel. If there is a way, I am unaware of it. What I do, and others have done is edit out the original arcade bezel using any photo editing application. From what I can tell, sorbeppe in the recent posts above is doing that exact thing. No doubt, it can be time consuming with some of this stuff. But the majority of vertical overlays shouldn’t require these types of edits.
