I have got an 8bitdo SN30 gamepad (snes-like model), and I use it with RetroArch on my GNU/Linux systems in x-less KMS/DRM mode. Thing is, sometimes it’s detected by RetroArch as “8bitdo receiver”, and other times it’s listed as “Sony Computer Entertainment wireless controller”. How/why is this happening? Any ideas on what’s going on? I have tried replicating both situations by powering on the pad with START+B, START+X, etc… but there’s no way to change from one mode to the other on one’s will.
