Since 1.2, VBA-Next, gpsp, or meteor never loads on android, except for VBA-M, but it’s very slow. Used on Bungbungame Miss tablet 4.1 with Tegra 3. Prior to 1.2, I could load VBA-Next just fine and barely had any slowdowns in that core.
Atari 7800 Prosystem core, it doesn’t works, when a game start the screen freeze in black, nothing happends, you can go back to RA menu again, I have all in order with this core, prosystem.dat and 7800 BIOS (U).rom are inside system folder.
With last nighties yabause core sram saves get corrupted on exit worked fine with 2015-07-18 besides CDDA tracks don’t work with some games like Suiko Enbu fuun and some games like Falcom Classics 2 don’t detect the inputs at all tested with Nvidia Shield Portable, Tablet and Ouya
In the stable release UME core won’t load, MESS 2015 works, but with some console games like a7800 after a first game experience, if you close and when you come back to play again with MESS core, RA crash to the launcher, the only way to play again with the MESS is deleting the config files.
Help. I’m not able to download cores with the latest nightly 2015-07-26. When selecting core updater nothing happens and RA seems to freeze. I can’t exit the menu then.
Core directory is not saved when changed manually. If set in cfg it is overwritten with standard dir.
If I set a core manually and try to load a Rom(snes or Genesis) RA will crash.
Tried to roll back to 2015-04-19 (was working well before) but it doesn’t show the downloadable cores list anymore. 
Couldn’t find an official thread for 1.2.2 Play Store release, so I tell it here: On my GS2, when I scroll more than x lines (3 or 4) in any menu all menu items disappear and I have to tap somewhere on the screen to have it back. Only happens when I scroll with the touch screen.
Also, Sega CD games make RA crash both with Picodrive and Genesis Plus GX.

So everything is fine with RA. 
Some Feedback(2015-07-26):
- RA is very laggy for 2 seconds or so after leaving menu( after loading or saving a state for example).
- How to get shaders working? Seems to be broken.
- I’m using a Ps3 controller. How to swap the Ok and Back Buttons in RA menu? I have to use circle(right) for OK, and cross(down) for Back. Shouldn’t this be swapped? In the games the buttons are mapped correctly. It’s only wrong in the RA menu.
I’m using a Sony Z1 Compact (Kitkat 4.4.4)

Sega CD works fine here. At least with bin cue games. No idea if it works using ogg or mp3 files.
To swap the buttons around, you need to edit the configuration from the sixaxis app. Open the app, the in the top right corner open ‘Preferences’ then select ‘gamepad settings’ then open ‘edit mappings’
Then just keep changing buttons until you get it right.
@FlintEastwood and COMBO You can swap the accept/cancel buttons in your cfg file. See this thread for more info: http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3551
The games I tried were in .iso format. They worked with previous builds from early July.
Also, the input mapping works good now with my controller (which seems to be recognized as NVidia Shield no matter what), but if I accidentally try to map a function to a phone button I can’t seem to use the controller anymore unless I uninstall and install the app back again.
Last version from the store on a GS2. (I know it’s the Nightly thread but I couldn’t find the “main” thread anymore) Any clue on why ISO files now seem to be an issue for some cores?
The MAME 2015 core freezes or exit the app if you try to load a STV bios rom weird thing is the game and the emu loads fine until the start of the games
PS The mednafen PC-FX is lacking core and frame skip options is there a way to set one or two frames to skip? it run almost full speed on my devices but sometimes there are minor slowdowns and sound pauses.
I personally never managed to get MAME 2015 to work with RA as of today.
Nope I’ve tried again and still the “no core” in the gui and the exit crash with MAME 2014, 2003 work fine tough used online updater to download the core on Nvidia Shield portable and Tablet 4 times same result on both any ideas? can I download from somewhere the previous core that worked fine?
Edit: Tested further and when selecting a file (zip) next ask to chose folder open or load file with core thing that never happened before with MAME cores, please help I was loving this core very much

I am using the nightly and have found the following problems
1.when bringing up the menu via the back key or controller combo buttons,there is no CLOSE / EXIT RETROARCH ,i must first close the rom then the exit option appears at the bottom of the menu,would be nice to have this exit option avail on the 1st menu 2.roms not showing up in the directory browser = some of my roms that used to work like neogeo now do not show up at all when i browse to load one,also atari jaguar does this and i have no idea why,i am sure i have the cores. 3.cores crashing to black screen,mostly anything that requires MESS gives me a black screen,atari systems,so far i have not saw MESS working,i can load up 7800 and i get a black screen but cant load up jaguar as i cant see my roms,zipped or unzipped,same with neogeo 4.I love the new look however in xmb i can’t change font size,dpi settings work only on the rgui or the new one but not xmb,however i am thinking this is due to it using font files ? however i do not know where to locate them on my phone. 5.there is a start menu where i am asked to load or quit retroarch,i found a setting for intro helper or something like that and thought that option may be to turn this off with no luck,i would like to see retroarch load strait to the menu.
I would like to say a big thankyou to the developer,somethings are better now in this version and somethings are wayyyyy better !!! i love the new clean look,the menu is smoother and has plenty of options that are very helpful,i am enjoying the new version better and my IPEGA controller loves you mr/mrs developer !!! so a big thank you,i hope that the things i pointed out help and would love to know if i can indeed get MESS working,missing some atari !

08-12 nightly. Stuck in main menu screen with GLUI. Scrolling fails and I’m unable to enter Settings to switch menu driver or enable some overlay. Tried both portrait and landscape modes. Maybe it’s better to set RGUI as default menu driver until GLUI is fixed?

Same problem here exactly, tried nightly from 08/13 and downloaded latest mame cores using online updater option. It always show no core after loading the mame cores and then asks about open as archive when trying to load content. This is on nvidia shield portable.
