Black flashing screen in dolphin

I am using dolphin on retroarch 1.10.0 installed as flatpak on Linux.

Since latest driver updates I am experiencing a bad black flikering with all games (GC and Wii).
The behaviour is very similar to the one you can see in this old video, but in my case is much more frequent (1 or 2 times per seconds).

The emulator has no speed problem of sort, only the flickering issue. Other cores I tested work with no problems (PPSSPP, ParaLLEI N64, Flycast, Duckstation) The problem with Dolphin appeard with latest RetroArch or Mesa driver update (not sure which one, sorry)

Following are some information on my system:

CPU: quad core 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 (-MT MCP-) speed/min/max: 1081/400/4700 MHz Kernel: 5.16.5-arch1-1 x86_64 Mem: 4436.9/31824.5 MiB (13.9%) Graphics: Device-1: Intel TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics] driver: i915 v: kernel Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.21.1.3 driver: loaded: modesetting unloaded: fbdev, vesa resolution: 3840x2400~60Hz OpenGL: renderer: Mesa Intel Xe Graphics (TGL GT2) v: 4.6 Mesa 21.3.5

Thanks a lot for your help

I find the same problem when I use vulkan video driver on dolphin, then I turn to opengl video driver and the flikering went away.

Hi, I also noticed this. However I am getting alot more freezing in gamecube/wii games whenever I use openGL but whenever I switch to vulkan I get this black flickering does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks
