BSNES crashing RetroArch 1.7.1

Is anyone else getting crashing from using any of the BSNES cores? The cores work just fine, but every time I close them they crash RetroArch. I’ve used them both with GL and D3D11 and it doesn’t seem to matter. However Higan is not affected and shuts down fine. The BSNES cores still work just fine in 1.7.0.

I’d also give a fresh install a try. I find that if I’ve updated an existing install a number of times things start to break down a bit. I think it’s just a side-effect of options changing and being removed/added etc. Anyway, a fresh install always seems to fix it.
