I’ve just completed Cave Story (good ending, f*** yeah!), and while the Retroarch port is pretty much flawless, I have to report a weird bug I encountered. As you may know, the Misery boss fight starts like this:
I’ve drawn a circle around one of the blocks because, after 10 seconds or so, Misery will try to drop one exactly like that on top of the players’ head. And here’s where things get odd:
Yes, that big boulder is, in fact, Misery. Its appearance will glitch out when she attacks, but otherwise the difference is just aesthetic (i.e. she attacks and take damage as she should); only when her health bar is depleted she’ll revert to her normal self.
