Can PC PCSX-Rearmed work? Failed to load content ?

We need more information. Which platform (Windows, linux, mac, rpi, whatever), which game, can you give us a log?

Where can I find the log ?

Retroarch 1.5.0 ver
core : PCSX-Rearmed r22 f0a02fd play all game points: Failed to load content .

you still didn’t say which platform/OS you’re using, which is pretty important.

oh sorry I use windows 7 to PC

Ok, yeah, in that case, don’t use PCSX-ReARMed, as it is only intended for ARM devices. Use beetle-psx instead.

OK,Thank you for help Hope PC can also use PCSX-ReARMed core.

Hey guys, i don’t get it… How come it is available for 64 bit windows??

If it builds, we add it to the buildbot so that we can tell if problems come up with it that break building, etc. It leads to some n00b-trap cores, like this one, bnes and meteor, but we don’t yet have a good solution for hiding those from users.

Cool. I thought there was a Windows build on the way.

This just tripped me up. Wonder why my RIP wasn’t working, because I was using Rearmed on macOS!

bsnes is a n00b trap core? How so?

bnes

not

bsnes

bnes is a super-old fork of Higan’s NES emulator, which isn’t top-tier to begin with and was even worse at the time it was forked.

Hi. I’m new here. I have a PS1 and had a question. I have a ton of PS1 games I bought and my PS1 died. Is there any emulator that lets your PC read the original game discs in a CD/DVD drive of a PC and let you play it through your PC? If so are there “emulator” controllers that will work with my PC? I appreciate the help as I cant open a thread of my own yet and just found this great group.

RetroArch doesn’t currently support running from retail disks. Mednafen standalone used to, but it doesn’t anymore. You might be able to find an old version that does.

I think there might be some plugins for ePSXe that do it, but I’m not sure about that.

As for “emulator controllers” do you mean gamepads? If so, sure, most USB gamepads, like dual-shock 3/4 or Xbox 360 / xbone controllers should work fine.
