Cannot get the ParaLLEI core to work on new PC

PC is i3-8100T and i am using the IGPU (UHD 630) with the latest Win10 DCH Drivers.

When i select Load Core and then select ParaLLEI it just goes back to load core with no core loaded.

Any ideas? Every other core seems to work. Everything is pretty much stock RetroArch (1.7.7) wise… i just changed some video settings like non windowed fullscreen, bilinear off, turned vsync and hard sync on.

we’d need to see a log to even guess.

Audio driver? It is currently hooked up to a monitor, with no audio out, VIA HDMI for testing.

I believe this is your actual issue:

[ERROR] Failed to open libretro core: "C:\_RETROARCH\cores\parallel_n64_libretro.dll"
[ERROR] Error(s): The specified module could not be found.

So, it’s actually not even able to load the core because it can’t find it. Assuming you’re not using an external launcher (launchbox, rocket launcher, etc) and just handing it an incorrect path, the first thing I would try is moving your installation somewhere that doesn’t require special permissions to write. For example, your desktop or documents folder.
