no directory shows up after scan, not even with reboot or anything.
Its the same in windows and android, is it a known bug?

Its the same with the Lynx core for me also.
We have a DAT for lynx, so perhaps your ROMs don’t match our hashes? https://github.com/libretro/libretro-database/blob/master/dat/Atari%20-%20Lynx.dat For Atari, we have DATs for ST, 5200 and 7800 but no 2600 (yet).

im pretty awful at the software technical stuff but do you think it will work just by renaming the lynx files to “.dat” instead of “.lnx”?
As for 2600, is there some other stuff I can do to get a direcetory?
No, the DATs are collections of ROM hashes that RetroArch uses to identify which games are which. There are various scripts and utilities floating around (like this one) that can create playlists just based on directory contents without needing to match the ROMs to the DAT entries. This can be helpful for systems we don’t have DATs for, as well as for ROMs that aren’t included in the No-Intro sets we base our databases on (think: romhacks, translations, bootlegs, etc.).
ok thanks, is there a similar software for android?
