Changelog on updated cores?

I was wondering whether there is an easy way to check the changelogs when cores get updated, or not?

I can’t seem to find any info anywhere, but I would love to know what has changed when I update the cores.

For example; the Saturn mednafen core got updated recently. Would be nice to be able to quickly read up on the updates, to appreciate the work that has been done!

thanks

you can look at the commit logs at the individual repos, but that’s the closest we have.

Thanks for your reply. Why isn’t there any more information available per updated core…? You have to keep track of all the changes made right? Might as well share them with your users

Would be great!

Half of the cores/platforms are redundant. Ya’ll should consider a cull.

i look at commits at github/libretto - these are daily updates anyways so no need to have daily updates of changelogs too.

Okay thanks. Where is it on github? I tried the search, but it 's not https://github.com/apcera/libretto.

it’s https://github.com/libretro

And yes, people frequently talk about the redundancy of having a dozen SNES cores, but there are more people using any one of the SNES cores on a single platform than would use a Philips CDi emu on all platforms, and it would be a terrible idea to confine ourselves to a single core targeting the lowest common denominator of performance (or highest performance) at the expense of the other platforms.
