Some 3DS games like Super Mario 3D Land uses the circlepad for movement exclusively and the dpad for auxillery functions like the camera and give you no way of switching them. the core input options let me use analog sticks as dpad, but not the other way round. when i change what input the dpad sends, there is no circlepad axis option among them, which means the game is unplayable with a keyboard or any controller lacking an analog stick.
standalone citra has config file where this kind of thing could be manually configured, but the libretro core does not as far as i can tell. is it actually impossible to play games like 3D Land on the libretro core if you don’t have an analog controller?
