Dinothawr - a puzzle game written for libretro

Dinothawr

Dinothawr is a block pushing puzzle game on slippery surfaces. Our hero is a dinosaur whose friends are trapped in ice. Through puzzles it is your task to free the dinos from their ice prison.

We attended Norwegian Game Awards this year. We were nominated for mobile game of the year, and we showcased the game running on Shield, Raspberry Pi and a Linux laptop. It attracted quite a lot of people, and some were playing up to two hours in one sitting. That was awesome

Changelog 2013-09-22: Updated the windows bundles to have DOS-line break retroarch.cfg. Should help editing config in notepad. The change is so small, so didn’t update version.

That’s awesome! Congratulations on the nomination

Bravo! This game is fantastic. I used it with your ntsc 320 and crt-geom-flat and it looks fantastic. Great concept for a puzzle game too. I’m sure I’ll enjoy this for a long time to come. Thank you!

For the many Arch Linux users we have here, you can build Dinothawr from AUR now.

Does this currently build for consoles? It seems like it’d be great for living room play.

I finally finished a level design guide for Dinothawr, in case anyone wants to give that a try.
