Disable nag screens in mame_libretro core?

I’m using mame_libretro for MESS emulation as it seems that MESS is now integrated into this core. Is there some way to disable the nag screens when I load a rom that doesn’t involve compiling my own core?

I barely have experience compiling anything, so I’m hoping that someone can either provide me with a compiled core (if this is allowed) with nag screens disabled, or there’s some magical setting I’ve been missing.

Thanks!

I don’t think there’s a way to disable the nag screens anymore without compiling your own core ( which is way over my head)

I started using MameUIFX and I’m completely happy with it, now that it’ll sync to monitor refresh ( no audio stuttering regardless of refresh rate) and you can use OpenGL shaders (CRT-geom)

Plus, I find it easier to map the buttons and it correctly saves nVram files (which I can’t make work anymore in RetroArch)

Personally, I use the latest FBA core for NeoGeo and Capcom CPS, since you can now assign multiple button presses to a single button i.e. b+c to the right shoulder button is a godsend…

It also saves region and bios per game as well

I use MAME for everything else

The older mame cores (2003, 2000, etc) allow blocking the nag screens, fyi.
