Does dolphin work on Linux KMS mode?

Hi there!

Just upgraded my linux box to Ubuntu 18.04 64-bit with latest Retroarch and cores in the hopes of being able to play some GC games.

Unfortunately, I’m not able to make any games to work with dolphin core. Ikaruga opens the intro animation but it hangs in the “loading…” screen forever. Log:

Need for speed underground gives only a black screen.

In both situations, controller doesn’t respond and I need to reboot the machine.

Oh, and yeah, I’ve enable shared context in the advanced settings.

Any help is appreciated.

according to your log, it shows this:

[libretro WARN] 55:34:673 VideoBackends/OGL/Render.cpp:754 W[Video]: Missing OGL Extensions: PinnedMemory

I don’t sure, but maybe your problem is there.

Any clues on how to resolve that? I am willing to try anything. The machine is an Intel Nuc with an i7 and Intel Iris 6100 GPU.
