Trying to get Commander Keen to load. Keen1.exe spits out a line of garbage and then does nothing. start1.bat says fileid.diz not found and then dosbox crashes.
I have no idea what I’m doing. Is fileid.diz some shit that needs to go in the system folder?
Keen1.exe should work, start1.bat and fileid.diz should be unnecessary. Are you files sourced from a specific collection or something?

Files sourced from dosgamescollection2015, I’ll try a different one.
tried a different fileset, works now.
