When dealing with cd based games you put the cd image in the with the install files into one zip and the install files will be auto mounted to c drive and the disc image auto mounted to the disc drive (d). but this does not work when dealing with games that have more then one disc such as command and conquer or wing commander 3. What you have to do is leave the cds unzipped and load them with an m3u file and as for the install files they have to be zipped and given the extension .pure.zip and put in the retoarch save folder with the same file name as the m3u file. I find this to be very unintuitive a bit sloppy; would it be possible to have multi disc games work the same way as a signal disc game and have dosbox-pure see the multiple disc images in a signal zip and just add them to the list of mountable media. I tried putting the m3u file inside the zip file along with the discs but nothing. If a zip file has more then one disc image inside it dosbox-pure just doesn’t know what to do with it.
Hey there,
It’s working for me here. When making the ZIP file, maybe try to zip your ISOs or IMG or CUE/BIN files directly in the root folder of the archive. Dont compress them in a subdirectory. In other word, when zipping, dont zip the folder, select them all and then zip them.
I do put them in the root folder still nothing.
Have you Tried Deleting Config File so it can make a Fresh config file?
Try one for Core then IF does not work try Main Retroarch Config File
tired that still nothing
That Sucks
Have you Tried Different Programs to Zip up the Disc Images?
Omg that worked I was using windows built in zipper but I switched to winrar and now it works. Strange what could be wrong with how windows does it I wonder.
Glad that worked for you @Terabyte88
Looks like the Windows Built In Zipper does not work with Retroarch
Winrar and 7Zip works
