Hi I’m wondering when there will be dreamcast emulation on o-droid? Also is there any one who is working on a dreamcast emulator maybe modifying the reincast emulator? Thanks
This Is Amazing Thank you so much
Well I updated Lakka to the latest version and added a game but it says there is no core so wondering if you have any advice?
Can you try Main tab > Load Core > Sega Dreamcast (Redream) ?
Sorry does not seem like its working updated to latest version and even added a dreamcast came but still does not work. Thanks for the help Is there any chance of adding it manualy?
When you are doing Main tab > Load Core > Sega Dreamcast (Redream) ? You don’t find the core ?
Yeah it looks like it’s not there Lakka is definitely updated to the latest version I updated it twice just to be sure. Thanks
Do you think this could be a bug with updating?
Maybe the core doesn’t not compile on odroid xu4 ?
Is there a .so file and I could try to compile it myself
I’m guessing this is ether a bug or redream is not supported on xu4 yet. Because I have tried everything and nothing seems to work.
Started working now in lakka rc5
How to get it work? I put dc_bios.bin and dc_flash.bin
and write Sega - Dreamcast.lpl :
/storage/roms/DC/Virtua_Striker_2/Virtua Striker 2 (USA).gdi
Virtua Striker 2
tmp/cores/reicast_libretro.so
DETECT
DETECT
Sega - Dreamcast.lpl
=============================================
And I use Raspberry 3b with LAKKA 2.1RC5
choose this game, system will autoback to xmb , not run game
Seems to still not be working even with latest update
Is there an emulator for Dreamcast that works on a regular windows7 PC? My Dreamcast died after my cat used it for a cat box and I didn’t catch it till after a short period of time… Is there a special controller I can get to use with my Windows PC to play the Dreamcast games? Dose the emulator let me play games already on CD or do I have to download or upload them to my pc? Im new to this so please bear with me…
Yes, the Reicast core plays Dreamcast games. You have to rip your games to a disk image.
I don’t know of any USB dreamcast pad clones, but a PS3 or xbox 360 pad should be able to do the trick competently.
