FB Alpha (0.2.97.39) can't load "gowcaizr.zip"

Hi!

I’ve been facing this problem with “Voltage Fighter - Gowcaizer” (gowcaizr.zip). I haven’t been able to load this ROM in FBA, even in the latest version FOR ANDROID.

Always I load the ROM with FB Alpha core, it tries to read its contents and then just rejects. Neo-Geo BIOS are OK, I can load other ROMsets without problems. It’s strange, as far as I can see, the only Neo-Geo ROMset that fails is this one; however, I’ve beed downloading all the files from different sources but got the same results.

this game works. verify you have the correct crc of each files

There is no known issue with this game, so your rom is probably bad.

No idea what happened, as you can see, my ROMset is the same as the one wertz is talking about.

Provide retroarch’s output, perhaps we’ll be able to help you.

Well… I have downloaded FBAlpha again and this time ROMset could be loaded without problems. I’m not sure if this was a bug, since last FBA version before the present one had the same problem. I remember it so well, than I was waiting for this release just to see if this problem was still present in Android.

It is really strange, i checked the sources and there was no change in fba for this game for years. Too bad you couldn’t provide a debug output, i was interested in it.
