Is there an estimate when the new gap type format will be implemented in Flycast master/libretro branch ?

As some of you may know, chdman from MAME 0.290 and onwards will change for GDI to CHD conversions. As of now, only the development branch support CHDs created with latest chdman (from git and 0.290+).

GDI pregap support. You see the changes here.

So, when MAME 0.290 arrives or if you compile MAME/chdman from git, it won’t currently work in Flycast libreto version. It does work in latest standalone developer build. https://flyinghead.github.io/flycast-builds/

For now, use chdman 0.289 if you plan on using Flycast libretro.
