Genesis Plus GX Core for PSP?

Hello,

If the Picodrive core (as its the only MegaDrive/Master System core on PSP) is used, the collision detection doesn’t work on Star Wars for the Master System.

This is a common flaw present in every single Master System emulator (MasterBoy, SMS Plus, e[mulator], MMS Plus, PSP Master) for PSP for this game.

I tested RetroArch for PS3, Android and Windows and I found the same issue with Picodrive core.

Although, using the Genesis Plus GX core, the game works perfectly.

The thing is, Genesis Plus GX core is present on all versions (Apple, Blackberry, Linux, 3DS, NGC, WII, PSVita, PS3, Windows), but not for PSP, so I’m guessing it doesn’t exist.

Does anyone know a fix for this game with PSP or is it possible to port this core to PSP?

Genplusgx is probably just too slow for PSP. I would assume those other emus all have the same issue because they’re all just ports of picodrive under other names.

Even if it’s slow, is there any way of doing or request it just for the sake of testing?

You can get the PSP toolchain and compile it from git.

Could you or someone tell me on how exactly do this?
