I’m having issues with Genesis Plus GX core on PS Vita Retroarch 1.7.1 (stable). Every rom I load has crackling, buzzing sound and framerate drops. Settings are default. Around half a year ago I had nightly version and this core worked flawlessly. It is a matter of settings or now this core is simply not working well on Vita? On PicoDrive roms work good, but the sound is not as accurate as it is on Genesis Plus GX, so there is any way to make roms run better on this core?
EDIT:
I found the solution - I disabled the overclock plugin on my Vita and rebooted the system. Now the core is working flawlessly again. I think that every overclocking plugin on Vita messes the framerate and sound on Retroarch cores, but I heard that Retroarch already runs on Vita with max CPU power, so it doesn’t need the overclocking plugin
