GlideN64 Updates

Searched the forum and found some posts from 16’ and 17’ about updates to Mupen64Plus. I’m more just curious if mupen64plus + GlideN64 will receive the 3.0 updates? Would there be a nightly I could test out or unstable branch since I’m on Linux Mint?

No updates in the foreseeable future. Right after loganmc10 stopped working GLupeN64 (our mupen64plus-libretro core), both Mupen64plus upstream and GLideN64 upstream did massive rewrites that abstracted a bunch of stuff in a way that makes it very hard for us to interface with.

It’s possible someone could get it working at some point, but nobody seems too interested in doing so at the moment.

Say that was one of the bounties offered. How much would that cost to get that updated to latest? Could i start one myself?

No clue. That’s the thing with bounties: it’s just a matter of sweetening the pot until someone bites. You’re welcome to start one but there’s no guarantee it’ll get traction.
