I am unable to get Handy setup properly in RetroArch. I have placed the BIOS (lynxboot.img) in the system folder. When I load a ROM I see in the command line output “Invalid Cart” and then RetroArch crashes.
Did I miss something in the setup?
Also what is the best way to enable / view logging so I can better troubleshoot these issues?

you can see debug output by launching from a command line with --verbose added. I’ve never actually tried the handy core, but someone did just post a video of them playing some lynx games recently, so I assume it works.
Handy requires romheaders to work properly. It crashes when they are not present.
Ok, how can I verify this? I tried both handy core and medafen core last night and both crash saying Invalid Cart and Invalid Rom. So it seems this could be what is going on.
I have a verified no intro set (will double check and rerun clrmamepro tonight), would that not contain headers? And if not can I add them in?
Modern No-Intro sets dropped all headers from their Lynx games. I haven’t checked when that happened, but the 2013-06-14 set still has them included so I would just go with that.
