How To Disable/Remove an Overlay?

If you have selected an overlay for a core and then want to remove that overlay how do you go about doing that?

If you want to disable overlay-buttons at all you have two ways:

  1. Use an empty .cfg file for overlay.
  2. You can rename .cfg file, that you have selected, but don’t unmark it in the RetroArch.

There’s actually an easier way that I learned about recently: Hitting ‘start’ in RGUI returns the current option to default, which in the case of overlays and softfilters is nothing.
