Is libretro-mupen64plus's master branch currently broken?

Hello everyone, I have been trying to compile the libretro mupen64plus core from the master branch, using the win64 prepackaged toolchain, which has been floating around the internet for some months. The compilation does seem to work fine, and the core does seem to run… well, it kinda does. I have experienced a rather odd issue: as I try to approach the frst Star Door in Super Mario 64 (U), at about the point where it should trigger the message / cutscene, Retroarch suddeltly crashes as the screen freezes. The source code was not altered in any way. The binary distribution does not have any issue, I am wondering whether anybody could try to do this task with the last available source for the core.

On a side note, I’d be glad if somebody could point me to the source code being used for the latest binary release: I have the 4 port Mayflash Gamecube Adapter and the core does not accurately represent the full range of the control stick, and I’d like to change the maximum inclination value in the source code to make it run correctly on my device. At least I would be able to test whether there is a problem with the compilation itself or not.

If anyone wishes to try my compiled core themselves, let me know.

Thanks for your support.
