hello, there is no downloadable Mame2016-Core (and no updates) for few month. any chance getting this great core back ?
I believe it’s just regular ol’ MAME now. As in, it’s up-to-date.
the “upto-to-date cores” requires rebuilding the whole set (roms,samples,thumbnails) with every next core update.
The “2016” Core was not to old for me (especially the newer Cave-Game run great with it) and the set was a freezed/stable one.
make me sad if the core was lost / don’t get an update anymore 
i wish it can be handled similar to the 2003/2010/2014-Core
It’s not the first time it disappear … BTW there is no reason for that ,there are always recipes for @libretro-super . mame2016 is also the last compatible version for old android version .
and it always available for Windows64 on buildbot ,only disappear for linux & android. maybe you should ask @anon24419061 or other of the team who have access to the buildbot.

It was definitly there! dont know if it helps but i downloaded it last mid march from buildbot. few day later it was gone.
