Kronos Saturn Core Shader(?) Issues

The core in and of itself works like a charme, but it displays some rather strange behavior. While my first run of it (Panzer Dragoon, 4x internal res, hq4x upscaling, bilinear filtering) was pretty much perfect, ever since my screen keeps on flickering, in some (mostly 2D games) it doesn’t show a picture at all.

So i looked at what i changed since my first run: I enabled a basic sharpen shader to also test out the new Gambatte features.

I disabled the shaders, applied the changes and the flickering stopped. Curiously, now every time i start a game using Kronos, i have to go into the shader options and apply changes, even though no shaders have been set.

I’m using a fresh Retroarch installation, so i doubt any leftover configs could habe cause this. So, for anyone experiencing similar issues, i guess this is a workaround. If someone might have figured out what’s causing this in the first place, help is always appreciated ^^

Were you using GLSL shaders with it?

@hunterk Sorry for the late reply, it’s a litte stressful around here.

It was either cg or gsls shaders (Sharpen: adaptive sharpen multipass, default preset config). But as i said, the issue persists even with deactivated shaders set as the default config.

The internal resolution was wrong but has been fixed now.

Shaders should work fine now but internal core options (upscale, filter, scanlines) won’t work anymore as they try to deal with an unscaled pic (before RA scales it).
But that’s alright, that’s RA job to apply shaders or filters.

Scanlines internal option still works for me

They still do something but they are wrong.
They don’t separate pixels now, like here at original resolution:
