Launch mods for Wii?

Tell me, is it possible to load mods for Wii in RetroArch? In the Dolphin emulator - you need to load the .xml file from the “riivolution” folder, BUT in RetroArch it only loads “Load Custom Textures”

Link to all Wii mods - https://lumasworkshop.com/mods/

There is an interesting New Year’s modhack Super Mario Galaxy 64 - Holiday Special

it depends on the mod i think , you can run iso mods , or even things like load the project m mod via the sd-card method ,the homebrew launcher and it apps and ports like sonic mania also working fine

but ican’t say the same fo riivolution stuff for the dolphin core , i know that the standalone version can load this mods via its own folder but thats not the case dolphin core cuz its out of date (tried it with a tetra’s trackers translation ) …

but you maybe have luck with an fully modded nand that can use riivolution , cuz you can use a modded nand/firmware with the dolphin core … i didnt’messed with riivolution on mine but i have my old custom wii nand running in retroarch via dolphin

Thank you very much for the information! For me now these are scary and unfamiliar terms) I’ll try to figure it out

And of course I wanted to play these beautiful Wii mods for RetroArch on PC.

It’s a pity that the Wii kernel does not support mods // and it’s also a pity that the kernel does not support the “Skylander portal” function for the Skylanders game. Which the Dolphin emulator can easily do

i know besides some workarounds for some mods and features you have to live with that till it gets an update …if it ever happens
