M64+ Ground textures

I know there have been fixes which seem to fix the ground textures issues for everyone else, yet I’m still having issues. http://imgur.com/IKfXeyv

The water is not supposed to do that, and when you get up close it doesn’t overlap the ground and looks like it is supposed to. This is a Mario 64 romhack, so I thought maybe that was the issue. Tested Zelda 64, also had the issue with ground textures.

What ROM hack is this? Please list the name so that we can at least reproduce this.

is it this one?

EDIT: Added a depth bias entry for this ROM hack. Seems it was made with an emulator since it doesn’t abide by the same depth bias as the original game. Because I have to set it to 0.01 to get the water offset to be more or less correct, the textures can wobble like what happened in the original game before I implemented the correct depth bias. Anyway, this should fix the water levels overlapping with the ground.

Yes, it is Super Mario Star Road. Sorry, I didn’t even think that the game was relevant, or that the romhack would behave differently than the original game. I didn’t think the answer would need a per-game hack.

@Tripulent , I’ve updated my current builds with Squarepusher’s changes.
