I havenā€™t changed anything on my end.

Thanks, problem solved. It works now with:

Core/Allow Rotation: Off (that one I have missed) and Tate Mode: Off

What happened? giphy

Awesome! Glad you like my bezels. :blush:

The preset settings I got on my end with no overrides:

#reference "_base.params"
HSM_ASPECT_RATIO_EXPLICIT = "1.303300"
HSM_NON_INTEGER_SCALE_OFFSET = "91.700020"
HSM_SCREEN_POSITION_Y = "7.000000"
HSM_BZL_WIDTH = "150.000000"
HSM_BZL_HEIGHT = "125.000000"

ScreenPlacementImage = "pacman.png"
BackgroundImage = "pacman.png"

Just wanna say, love this! Before I found this I loved the idea of bezels, but rarely used them since allot cut off sometimes huge parts of the screen (i didnt know you could adjust or move the display before) so often didnt use them. But i found mega bezels recently and fell in love and found yours and a few other packs and now almost all games i play with bezels!

Ive just noticed that the screen is bigger than the bezel in the 1943 arcade games. what parameters can i adjust to fix this?

Is it possible to add this pack to Batocera?

forgot to mention i fixed it! i completely overlooked the actual ā€œparametersā€ menu and was looking at the shader chain and was completely lost :sweat_smile: once i dug into the actual parameters it was pretty straight forward from there, though admittadly easy to still get lost in the sauce with how many parameters you can modify!

I just read through the main post and most of the comments looking to see if anyone else had this same issue, but i canā€™t seem to find it mentioned. Iā€™ve been using megabezel with consoles for a while now and decided to get it set up for my arcade machines. I found this amazing post, installed the zip, and set it as the core default for mame in retroarch. The screen sizing is working great and changes per-game, however none of the bezel artwork is loading (I just get the default black texture with the screws). Iā€™ve confirmed that the game zip filenames match the ones in this pack (centiped.params and centiped.zip for example) but the custom artwork still does not show. The .png files that match the zip filename with the art are also present next to the .params files. I have also confirmed that the file paths in retroarch are all correct (in the settings). Any idea what else I can try to diagnose this issue?

EDIT: I deleted the .slang file for my MAME core and tried setting it up again, and it started working. The issue may have been that I had customized the preset to skip the intro before saving so it maybe saved the settings for the rotation and size at the same time, thus breaking everything.

Iā€™m personally unfamiliar with that so unfortunately I canā€™t help on that side. Best of luck if you dig in more and get some progress.

Glad you figured it out! Sorry for the delayed response. I got recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in july and my health has tanked fast. Been in and out of hospital several times battling this brutal autoimmune disease!

Sending positive vibes your way :+1: :crossed_fingers: :pray:

OrionsAngel just put out a new pack 6 collection! Iā€™m still in the hospital right now and have a journey to heal from this terrible Ulcerative Colitis I recently developed but rest assured, I will chip away at all the customization side items I do with this collection to get all these new pack 6 games included in my setup!

Thanks for the reply and sorry to hear about your condition! Hope the treatment journey goes smoothly! I just saw the pack6 post as well and am looking forward to it.

EDIT: I just looked at some of the cfg files in the orion pack. Do you manually go through each of these and convert the parameters over to the standard megabezel ones, or do you use an automated system?

Yes I take each game he does and manually get it in the format I use for my system. The only thing of his that I use are the images really. The parameters and other settings that go into the shader are all custom. But I reference his youtube videos to see how he places the bezel etc and try to stay true to his vision but I also have my own set template of sort too.
