MAME Midway games don't load

None of the midway games such as Rampage World Tour, NBA JAM, or Mortal Kombat 2, 3, etc load with either MAME or MAME2016.

Is this a know issue? Anything i can do to fix it?

we need a log to even guess.

How can i make a log?

Also, do these games work for others or is it just me?

launch from a command line with --verbose --log-file log.txt and then paste the contents of that log somewhere like pastebin and then post a link to that here.

I don’t have any of those games on-hand, but if your log looks okay, I’ll try to track one down to test.

Damn… i don’t think i have the knowledge in how to do those steps, sorry.

I’ll try to figure out what’s wrong and maybe try some other core, i don’t know.

They all works fine with the last mame core (0.186) on windows/linux.

I updated my MAME core and i tested Mortal Kombat games and they work. But Rampage World Tour still doesn’t work.

I managed to find a backup of a random MAME core i had from 2015 and all games work with that one.

Edit: It seems it was the ROMs. I used a more recent rom pack and now they all load on the latest MAME core.
