I’ve been using this core for quite a while with no problems until today. I changed a few settings (changed renderer to gl and turned on cpu overclock) and now it won’t load video for anything. I get the audio, but even when I do menu toggle I get nothing. I have tried trashing my config file for this core in the config folder to no change. The non HW one works fine, but I prefer the HW one.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

try backing up and moving/deleting your retroarch-core-options.cfg file. If that helps, open it in a text editor and delete the lines labeled for that core.
The hardware core doesn’t like shaders. If you have them on it’ll blackscreen.
Ahh, gotcha. I’ve been using them for a while. Must’ve gotten lucky.
Thanks for your suggestion. “Changing beetle_psx_renderer” from opengl to software fixed it. I couldn’t find those before because I was looking for mednafen and not beetle.
Isn’t this defeating the whole point of the PSX hardware core?
Yep. If it’s set to software it just uses the normal core.
