mGBA core supports SGB Borders and Colors

So, after reading this recent blog post about Gambatte updates, I tried to see if this enables the built-in Super Game Boy palletes for ‘SGB Enhanced’ games (note: unfortunately it seems it doesn’t).

However, I tested the mGBA core and indeed it does support SGB borders and special palletes!

I’m not sure if this is news or what the level of development is for this (buggy or otherwise), I just found it interesting and not really mentioned anywhere around these parts.

IIRC, mGBA only gives you the special borders and palettes; it doesn’t actually enable you to access other SGB-exclusive features like unique sound effects and custom borders & palettes. You’re going to need to run Game Boy games through a Super Game Boy ROM (either via command line prompts or a kinda lengthy process of going back and forth between core options and ROMs in RGUI) in order to access those.
