Hi, couldn’t find this question elsewhere, have to ask: How do I move the overlay around?
You can move individual buttons around in the cfg file (they use a normalized coordinate system). Fullscreen overlays you can shrink/enlarge but you can’t move them around on the x/y plane.
Thanks. The SNES overlay is the only one where the buttons crowd to center when in portrait, making them hard to reach. I’d appreciate it if you helped me figure out why and remedy.
I don’t think I understand what you’re describing. Can you get a screenshot?
Just to be clear/verbose, our overlays don’t rotate automatically, so if you want to use the portrait layout, you need to tap the button to switch to portrait. It’s usually a round button with an arrow curving 75% around the inside.
See the SNES buttons move toward center and become difficult to use. The PSX and other gamepads don’t do this.
Ah, I see what you mean. I’m having another issue, though, in that the overlays are disappearing entirely when I try to switch to portrait
When I compared the cfg files for the box-psx and snes overlays, their button coordinates were in exactly the same locations, so I’m not sure how/why they would be in different places on the screen… It was when I went to investigate that I ran into my aforementioned issue…
Anyway, I’ll keep it in mind as we poke around.
