Are there any plans to add HD Texture loading support to the Mupen64plus core? With the recent updates to the GlideN64 plugin on Android development, texture loading works amazingly well even in it’s alpha state.
I’m also interested to this feature. Unfortunately I don’t think devs are going to add this feature anytime soon for the following reasons: *Custom Textures are loaded from specific directory. I don’t think RetroArch’s current filesystem API can load multiple files from non-standard directories. *GlideN64 has a heavy system requirements, most notably OpenGL 3.0+ requirement which RetroArch does not yet support(I had this from outdated article from https://libretro.wordpress.com/2013/05/22/libretro-gl-starting-from-retroarch-0-9-9/, Thanks Twinaphex for correcting) *Mupen64Plus core on RetroArch is heavily modified from its standalone counterparts so adding/restoring custom texture related features might be difficult.

Libretro GL can support OpenGL 3.0+ core contexts fine.
I care because you do.
