Hello everyone! I’m having some issues with the mupen64plus framebuffer emulation. The image gets a little blurry when it is enabled. This happens no matter what are the other emulator settings. In super mario 64, for instance, this blur occurs just after that explanation how to play the game. Is this a bug? I am on windows 10-64 bit, i3-3220 and Radeon HD 6570. Btw, this does not happen when using the Mupen64plus emulator itself with the GlideN64 video plugin.
It may be scaling the framebuffer bilinearly. Try setting RetroArch to use nearest filtering instead.
Where can I change this setting?
settings > video > bilinear filtering OFF
Actually this was always OFF
Hmm, looks okay here, but I may just be missing it. Can you get a screenshot?

Hmm, I’m not getting that. There is a single pixel of blending happening on my end, but not like yours:
Do you know if the video plugin code (GLideN64) is in line with upstream? Like I said, this blur doesn’t happen on standalone version of Mupen64plus using this same graphic plugin.
PS.: I’m using the most recent libretro core
No, it’s a little over a year behind upstream, but I doubt this is related to age.
Very strange, then… I have no idea about an possible cause
