the new release will be more like a new/improved pack. better settings more presets and i redo the arcade overlays, with new and maybe upcoming features for the shader in mind

and yeah :slightly_smiling_face:

all the overlays i postet over the last few days are coming with 5 presets (3 normal/2 tilted) (i could do a tilted one with marquee but the image is even on a big screen to small)

here are the view options

i just aim to get at lest 40-50 overlays done for the new pack^^ and i am on a good way.

btw. the new pack will be standalone , but works in combination with the current stuff.

Well I guess I’ll just check out what’s already released then! I imagine it’s just as good

Looks great. It would be cool if we could find a hi res pic of that pink alien head for the top of Alien Syndrome.

This Guy ?

maybe i pair it later with other “special” cabs …cuz for this i have to merge my “side cabs” and background image into one for a free image slot ^^

this picture turned into a video , cuz i added coin drop sound , to my coin/select button , thought it´s cool in an nerdy arcade way

besides the final fight marquee really has a bright glowing look with this preset :relaxed:

yeah its a nice little tool i foud that plays arcade ambient and you can select a button for the coin sound, the coin box even fills up (the coin “landing” sound changes after a chosen time )

I was talking about Ninja Warriors the other day so I started working on my preset for it… been looking for a nice scan of the control panel for that “comic strip” art on it. Can’t find it, but if you guys have seen one let me know.

yeah if i came across one i let you now but i doesn´t hunt donw control panel arwork , i was even thinking to cut the joystick from the pacman this overlay ^^

it´s not really logical to have an arcade stick infront yourself , and another moveless on the screen

also there are so many scans or even pictures that i can´t find and wish to had, today i was searching for a good shot from the time travler or holoseum machine

but like almost always , all the guys that can afford such rare cabs , have no cash leftover for a good cam it seems :grimacing:

how about this

Thanks… that’s way better than anything I saw. I did a quickie clean-up and plugged it into mega-bezel. You can see what I was thinking with it, but it wouldn’t look right even if I spent a bunch of time cleaning it up. Maybe I can use the instruction card from the front of the monitor. I think it’s pretty low-res too. Not many options on this one. I think Darius 2 is the same way.

yeah , i gave up to search on the normal way , if i want art or parts of an /or an whole cabinet i search on japanese trading/auction sites and such for arcade stuff

Rastan Saga III was also in this cab format ^^

maybe it was kinda of an nintendo/punchout situation and they had just to many screens around

no for real darius was made this way (besides to attract ) , cuz its way harder to aim across 3 screens

Yeah, they were always trying to come up with some new gimmick to get kid’s quarters… lol. You have to admit, though… the first time you saw that Ninja Warriors machine, you had to play it.
