I like the brighter one because everything is more defined, but for every person that likes the bright one, someone will like the dark one.

My two cents… in this low light setting, the darker one makes sense. If you do a version with more ambient light, the light one would work well.

…of course with cleaner cutouts at the end 
i will go with this modified astro city overlay ,for the most modern and naomi arcade games i guess.
at least till i find a nice pic of an naomi cab thats useable.
some other “candy” cabinets i may be going for in the future would be Taito F3 , konami windy and a maybe a atomwise overlay.

added hsm´s new vector preset for the high res mode to my presets and made some little changes its looks awesome ^^

i will update this pack this week again , with the candy cab overlays and the new vector settings maybe more
and then my sinden lightgun should be arive so you can bet a bunch of lightgun arcade overlays will be the next thing
after i played 100 hours duckhunt and all house of the dead games of course

no with the colored gel i color in just the graphics from the game in a light blue.
for the rest of the image i use the Top image as another kind of Gel image/screen overlay
also as seen in your thread i added in the controls now cuz the game is hard to pic up ,
if you don´t play it for years as i just learned 
it looks very cool in motion
i upload a video but of course the processing takes forever ^^

yeah i was hoping to find a high res shot some day i love hang on , and even more super hang on and its music^^ i even covert the main theme some time ago
also i searching for a new background where i can fit in those special size cabs
the update will come later in somedays , at the moment i am very busy
