PCengine accurate core

Hi!

I was looking for a PCengine accurate core, but I only found the “mednafen fast” one or the supergrafx

Sadly both cores have glitches, for example in City Hunter, that regular mednafen not

There is a “accurate” or “normal” core?

Thanks

No, only the pce_fast core has been ported to libretro.

Thanks for reply, any plans to port the regular core?

I’m sure it’s somewhere on the TO-DO list , but I wouldn’t expect it any time soon.

thanks a lot for reply, thats good to know is in todo list. For users of fast computers, the normal core is a must, specially because is available

thanks

Depending on how many games you have I tend to use the standalone version of Mednafen Accuracy using a batch file. I only have Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo anyway so it’s pretty straightforward, double-click and the game is running.

As for the controls I have mapped the corresponding keys to a Famicom controller in antimicro.

Maybe not optimal but it gets the job done until they port it to Libretro.

Hi SigmaVirus, yes, standalone mednafen, or other emulators is OK, but im using a GL shader, thats why I preffer to use retroarch, or i have slight different video output (mednafen i can only do simple scanlines)

Happen the same in mame now, i preffer to use standalone mame over FBA or mame cores, but i cant replicate my retroarch shader in mame hlsl
