PCSX Rearmed problem on FF7 CD2

Hi,

I’m playing Final Fantasy VII on the android version of PCSX (Rearmed) ; everything went fine until I had to switch to CD2 to continue my game. I used the “Disk” option in Retroarch to change to the CD2 ISO when prompted by the game (Insert Disk 2") and it seemed to work fine, I could play the CD2 fine.

But there is one problem : when a video is played, the game plays a video from the CD1. I don’t know what I did wrong. Any idea ?

I “solved” my problem by launching the game from the CD2 ISO and loading the savegame the game had made just before asking to change CD.

ah, yeah, that’s probably the easiest way to handle it. Thanks for posting your solution :slight_smile:

You could also “merge” all discs into one PBP, it should keep the same save file for all discs, then switch using Retroarch xmb, not tested with FF7 here, but worked like a charm in Driver 2 that forces me to switch discs before any attempt to save.
