Im trying to find some information about it but can´t find anything specific. Doas anybody know anything about it and how to set it up?

, buuut did no one knows anything about how to set the Hiscore.dat for the latest MAME core?
I figured out how to do it for the MAME 2003 core but i prefere to use the latest one.
I had a look at the automatic save state feature but this is not working neather.
I had a look at a few posts and i was looking on the net for information on how to set it up !!!trying it for a week!!! 
But with no succes
So if someone could point me to somthing i woud be very happy, thanks for all your help in advance.
