Reicast Bios doesn't recognize

used dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin, put in system folder, doesn’t work put in system and redirect directory to system and nothing…

anyone can help?

the location is system/dc/

Thanks a lot for your hard work. We have now Reicast core in Retroarch. A lot of people must feel so happy

Doesn’t Work…

It works for me. Put the dc boot and dc flash files, as Radius said, in the dc folder that must be inside system folder.

Can you PM me with your retroarch configurated?

I searched the MD5 correct Bios, put in System/dc = Nothing Put in system/dc/bios = Nothing Put in system = nothing put in Bios = nothing manually define bios directory = nothing

What I’m doing Wrong?

You have your system directory set as system\dc in your directory settings. It needs to point to system directly.

It Works, thanks! But Now have only a black screen with bios sound in the background… I can’t back to retroarch menu, only I can do is close the emulator!

Make sure you don’t start with any shaders. It’s a problem currently, hopefully to be resolved in the future.

Note: the core isn’t really ready for general use yet, so don’t expect everything to work and don’t be surprised when many games don’t work well or at all.

No, it’s not shaders, go to settings/core and enable hw shared context

Thanks! Works perfectly now!

It seems that on Reicast core, L and R buttons are not working. Im on Retroarch 1.2.2, windows 64. I dont have this problem with all other cores.

My mistake, it works. Sorry

Glad it’s working, I would strongly advise to use nightlies instead of 1.2.2, a lot has changed since and you can get by just replacing the exe and backing up the config file

First off, amazing, just amazing.

Second, right now every time I turn on reicast, I have to put back in the date and time (or skip it), is there a way to save that yet so the screen doesn’t come up every time?

When will the Reicast core be available for Android?

Not sure. It needs a lot of work, still, so no ETA at the moment.
