So I can load Naomi games that are not in chd format (which is amazing in itself, this core is becoming astonishingly compatible), but everytime I try to run a Naomi chd I get the following message:
Error 01 THIS GAME IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BY MAIN BOARD.
I have thought about extracting the contents of the chd, zipping them and then run that zip from the playlist like I do with the non chd roms… would that work or is it a silly idea?
As stated in the announcements, naomi gd-rom is not working yet.
Also, it won’t work that way, hopefully a naomi gd-rom mame dump is a zip + a chd (the zip contains a key iirc), you’ll have to load the zip, not the chd (i say hopefully because the dc chd stuff would get in the way otherwise).
Wait for the announcement, and no there is no ETA.
Alright thanks, I missed that bit from the news. It’s not like I don’t read them. Those 7.92mb zips that come with the chds are basically bios files, right? I find it interesting that the error is related to the Naomi bios, and not the core itself. The chds are automatically detected as DC isos, and they actually load, like audio cds. Could you (or anyone else) explain to me what prevents the games from running, why the game is ‘not acceptable’? Out of curiosity
