Reicast: Lightgun emulation support doubts

Hi, I have read this new support on this fantastic Core but I have a few doubs:

  1. What does it mean? You can use a physical lightgun, is it? What kind of lightgun?

  2. Do you need use this Core over RetroArch in a CRT TV?

  3. Or this new feature means a simulated lightgun with a mouse?
