I can understand that someone needs some help if the language barrier is steep enough, and won’t criticize them for that. But looking at the structure and cadence of the replies in this thread, I’d say everyone here is effectively talking to a bot with slight prodding from a person. So these things’ll happen.
Tough times ahead! But everybody knows that.
@Retro30 I can suggest deepL for unbiased translations
It is clear that the discussion has shifted to a level that no longer serves any constructive purpose for the community. The shift toward personal attacks is unfortunate, but honestly, it doesn’t bother me.
I am immensely proud of what I’ve achieved: building a ‘Shader Arsenal’ that represents my vision without having a formal background in programming. That, in itself, provides a sense of accomplishment that is hard to describe. I didn’t have to ask for anyone’s help, I didn’t beg for favors, and I never falsely claimed credit—I was transparent about my process from day one.
I am satisfied with the results I’ve reached by guiding and leveraging AI as a powerful tool to achieve my goals, rather than waiting for others or seeking their approval. If some people have a personal issue with AI, that is their concern. For me, AI has turned my creative ideas into a tangible reality, and it did so for free.
While some are focused on complex equations that often drift away from reality, I am currently playing with a shader that looks exactly like the CRT in my own room. I learn from the physical hardware in front of me, not just from lines of code.
I wish everyone the best of luck with their projects.
