RetroArch 1.3.6+ Beta released for PlayStation3 - PS3 is back!

Atari 7800 emulator, in Retroarch. Original standalone version of this emulator is called ProSystem, because the Atari 7800 was also called the Prosystem.

Just Ironclad that I was aware of, you can play the dumped Wii Virtual Console version on FBA.

Not getting my wii out just for fba. Ps3 should be able to do it.

Thatā€™s not what I said. Ironclad was released for Wii Virtual Console some years ago, someone was able to dump it and found out it was based on the unreleased MVS version and not the Neo CD version. This rom can be played on FBA. Works on Windows version of the FBA core, should work on your PS3.

It would if the latest version of retroarch for ps3 had neogeo cd support :frowning:

Nightly builds for PS3 might be coming out shortly. Iā€™ll keep you guys posted.

Now that sounds AWESOME!

Great work!

Guys, i have a 3.55 CFW PS3. I tried installing the latest 1.3.6 RA. Both DEX/CEX fail to run.

CEX throws up a (8001003C) error AMD the DEX package says i must upgrade the OS from 3.55 to 3.60ā€¦

What is going on here? I had an old RA install before this.

I also deleted the old and did a clean install of both new versions but still throws the same error.

Thanks for the feedback, iā€™m going to check the signature, the param.sfo is 3.40 though.

Excellent timing, i was going to remove the support for older cfw (not in this case), i guess iā€™ll have to add again, though it creates issues with the cfw dex ita.

Please, try this fix. https://mega.nz/#!wdwGATKC!Tquj61sISj1KcM-qtvgqD-F1ikVKowFPeHzHpm6SkJ8

Hi, just tried this fix, and no luck. I first installed the fix over the DEX package this time the upgrade notice is gone and now it fades to black and an error message displays (8001003C)

Uninstalled the DEX package and tried the CEX package, with fix.pkg yet it also displays the error code.

Also tried with just the fix installed, same error.

Thanks for the help though.

Hi, Ezio_PS.

Maybe you can help me with ps3 controller problem in last RetroArch?Maybe you can help me with ps3 controller problem in last RetroArch. Maybe create some debug build to see, what is going on with controllers? Or maybe i just need to change some settings in retroarch.cfg?

Thank you.

@Combo please, try this other fix, i hope it works. https://mega.nz/#!0ZojVBjJ!Ex6GsVdJ3znfpPTET-qvDPvIj4c8sAflU0QPLkijwpY

@dnikolay itā€™s just a weird issue, i cannot reproduce the issue on my end, iā€™m using tha latest cfw rebug too. Are you using the official ps3 gamepad? You can try to see if deleting the .cfg files you can get fixed the issue.

Yes, i am using original ps3 controller. Ok, i will try to delete .cfg files, hope this will help. But i have already formatted the whole console (and format and restore) - with no results

Thanks for your help.

Hi Ezio - after asking on the REtroarch GIT about the issue with Atari 7800/Prosystem - they seem to think maybe the database.c file is not being included when compiling the core self for PS3. Any chance you can check that? THANKS!

Hello underball, not too sure about it.

I guess it would be more useful to debug the issue directly on the ps3. Meanwhile can you give a try to this pkg? https://mega.nz/#!5IB0yRDQ!sJflOEcEAs3MrD8NXXdsXFvd6BiTMsWsO-Y3duW7-Lc

@Drag did you test that core without using the old saves? Just using new ones?

Once again thank you very much for your attention and for your time dedicated. I did upload some videos recorded by webman mod what exactly happens with the super nintendo roms, has a youā€™ll be scared and have the roms and are with all the roms for super famicom that happens that, downloaded different sites, plus thereā€™s no way and no retroarch https://mega.nz/#F!k94njazD!N0yrNAZu-CxKBM5wilS76w

Tried it, no difference. Thanks for the upload.

Will it help if I turn on debugging and post the logs for you?
