Megaman 8 on the latest retroarch and even retroarch 1.6.0 with the latest beetlepsx HW version has slight graphical glitches for any sprite moving to the right. I have tested the game on original hardware so its not a gaming quirk. It didn’t used to do this. I am using the Open GL backend since vulkan is broken with nvidia’s newest drivers for the gtx 1060 from what i’ve noticed. Anyway i have taken screenshots to show what I mean. It’s not game breaking but it is a minor annoyance.
Do you have texture filtering enabled? If so, try turning it off (i.e., set it to ‘nearest’)
i dont i hate any kind of filtering so i always make sure its off.
In that case, your best bet is to use the software renderer for 2D games.
I agree. If there aren’t any 3D graphics, there’s no point to the HW core, IMO.
